Please visit our Resources page for tools and technical notes to prepare for using Gates belt drives in your FIRST Robotics Competition design. Gates is offering FRC^® teams the chance to custom order up to five belts free of charge.

Don’t forget that in order to apply for a Gates FIRST scholarship, you must be a high school senior on a team that uses a belt drive on its competition robot.

Gates is pleased to work once again with B&B Manufacturing to support the FIRST Robotics Competition. Gates engineers around the country enjoy working with teams and helping them use belt drive components to move robots, launch balls, and perform various other mechanical activities.
