PREVIEW AUTOPROFESSIONEEL GORINCHEM 2014 – March 11th to 13th - Gates, the complete system supplier

At Autoprofessioneel Gorinchem 2014, Gates will display its variety of kits for the aftermarket – from the PowerGrip® timing belt drive system range with water pumps to the Micro-V® Horizon™ belt drive system range including matching torsional vibration dampers and/or overrunning alternator pulleys.

Gates PowerGrip® Kits are the only kits in the market containing components that are designed and engineered together. Gates is not only a renowned OE timing belt manufacturer, but is also one of the largest OE tensioner suppliers in Europe. Gates offers the most comprehensive range of timing belt kits including a water pump to the market. The water pump is a vital element of a car’s cooling system and a malfunction could damage the timing belt, installers should not take any risks and should replace it at the same time as the other components.

Following the new Micro-V® Belt™ Horizon introduction and recent extensions of all metal product ranges for the accessory belt drive, Gates will further establish itself as a one-stop-shop for accessory belt drive systems which contains all the necessary components in guaranteed OE quality. A new Micro-V-Kit infographic video in Dutch will run during the show, stressing on how to understand and avoid failures of the ABDS system.

Gates offers a complete package to installers, it means also all the necessary expert tools and training to enable perfect installation and maintenance. The Gates high tech digital tools will be in the spotlight, especially the mobile site and the free Pic Gauge application developed for iPhone and Android. This application enables to determine whether to keep or replace a belt and ensure top performance of the ABDS. The iPhone version of the App has been updated and will be demonstrated on the stand. A new ‘How-to-use-guide’ will also be available in Dutch.
