Compensation & Benefits

In line with Gates’ objective to be a preferred employer, aiming to recruit, motivate and retain talent at all levels of the organisation, our remuneration philosophy is based on offering a fair and competitive compensation package in line with market conditions. The compensation packages offered in each Gates location are benchmarked regularly and all facets of remuneration policy are monitored to ensure they align with the evolution of pay and best practices in the labor market.

Depending on the remuneration history and pay practices in each country, as well as the role of the associate in the organization, the compensation package can, next to the base pay, consist of:
• A variable pay element
