Automotive Replacement – Benelux & Nordics


Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring profitable growth of the Gates footprint in the Benelux and Nordic area by developing and executing the business plan.
  • Together with your team achieving the sales budget in your area and the pricing & profitability goals in the market.
  • Forecasting, budgeting and planning of sales and specific sales conditions to achieve and exceed budgets on all product lines.
  • Developing strong commercial and personal relationships with (in)direct customers of Gates, ensuring that their accounts are correctly managed and that the best / most effective relationships are maintained by Gates within all levels.
  • Attracting new customers for all products on a direct and indirect basis.
  • Maintaining a strong and positive relationship with the Gates supporting teams in the European HQ.
  • Ensuring the payment in full and on time by our customers, in partnership with the Financial Controller.
  • You have a team of 3-4 Sales managers and are reporting to the Sales Director North Europe Gates Automotive Aftermarket.

Your profile

  • Degree in Business and/or Mechanical engineering.
  • Sales experience in and knowledge of the Benelux &Nordic AR market.
  • Successful in leading an experienced sales team.
  • Client focused with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Able to make decisions with guidelines and limited direction.
  • Self-starter and independent
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, preferably also knowledge of other languages of this region.
