Gates European website gets fresh content, structure and feel

The Gates Europe website, http://www.gates.com/europe, has been completely restructured and extended with new marketing and technical information. The refreshed website demonstrates Gates commitment to outstanding quality and service, offering its customers a user-friendly tool that enables them to stay informed about new products, technical know-how and corporate news.  Customers will find it easier to keep up-to-date.

The Gates Europe website is part of the global gates.com website, which was recently voted  one of the Top Ten B2B websites of 2006 by Crain Communications, one of the largest business publishers in the US. The European part can be accessed directly via http://www.gates.com/europe

From today, the Gates Automotive Aftermarket segment can be accessed through a direct URL, http://www.gates.com/europe/automotivereplacement.  The clearer navigation structure makes it easier for customers to find the information they need.  For example, passenger car and heavy-duty applications can be accessed independently.

The website offers extended information on all Gates products, including brochures and marketing material, which can be easily downloaded in many European languages.  In order to improve the service to the mechanics, Gates has also added technical articles that include helpful hints and fitting tips about belts, kits and related products, belt installation and maintenance.  This information is available in several European languages.  

Gates.com/europe is also the access point for catalogues and interesting applications such as the online application catalogue for belt drive systems and cooling systems, which was launched recently.
