Gates has released a new edition of its Drive Systems Catalogue for passenger cars and light-duty commercial vehicles. The 2008 version features the recently introduced range of Stretch Fit multi-ribbed belts. Furthermore, this extensive reference work provides an update of the application data for belts, kits and tensioners.
 
Gates’ Drive System Catalogue contains comprehensive application data for belt drive systems containing in all as many as 2255 references. A new feature in the 2008 version is the application data for Gates latest addition to the multi-ribbed belt range, the Stretch Fit belt. In order to offer mechanics a professional solution for drive systems which are designed without tensioning device, Gates has developed this new range of elastic belts for the aftermarket. The catalogue also contains all references for the Stretch Fit installation tools.
 
In accordance with previous practice this catalogue is multilingual and contains information in 10 languages. Additional features are improved tensioner drawings with dimensions and updated Micro-V® XF routings. The catalogue also includes useful listings such as an alphabetical listing by vehicle make, size listings, lists of kit components, a list of new products and also a list of cancelled and replaced products making this a very user-friendly and complete resource for every-day use.
 
The 2008 edition of Gates Drive Systems Catalogue offers application data on vehicle models of which production was stopped after 1989 or which are still being manufactured today.  Application data on models of which production was stopped
