Gates European website gets fresh content, structure and feel

The European Gates website, http://www.gates.com/europe, has been completely restructured and extended with new marketing and technical information. This renewed website indicates Gates commitment to outstanding quality and service offering its customers a user-friendly tool that enables them to stay informed on new products, technical know-how and corporate news.  Customers will find it easier to keep up-to-date.

The European Gates website is part of the global gates.com website, which was recently voted one of the Top Ten B2B websites of 2006 by Crain Communications, one of the largest business publishers in the US. The European site can be accessed directly via http://www.gates.com/europe

From today, Gates Industrial Power Transmission segment can be accessed through a direct URL, http://www.gates.com/europe/pti.  From there a clear navigation structure opens up, making it very easy for the customer to find what he needs.

The website offers extended information on all Gates Power Transmission products, including brochures and marketing material, which can be easily downloaded in many European languages.  A complete new section on Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) has been added, providing information on the Gates cost- and energy-saving programmes as well as a complete maintenance guide and case studies.

Gates.com/europe is also the access point for catalogues and interesting applications such as the Gates DesignFlex 2k programme, a Windows-based drive calculation programme.  A copy can be downloaded directly from the site.

“Monthly growing visitor numbers in Europe prove the gates website has become an indispensable tool for all Gates customers, be it distributors, maintenance engineers or end-users”, says C. Stalpaert, Marketing Manager Power Transmission Industrial.  “An easy to use online website and service is therefore one of Gates priorities.”
