Note: Apple QuickTime Player in required for full feature playback of the Gates Europe MRO Screensaver 2007, and must have the “Enable Flash” checkbox selected under the Advanced Preferences Tab. Should you receive an information window that indicates some QuickTime settings must be changed, follow the steps outlined under the “QuickTime Player Settings Changes” section below.
Browse to and launch the GatesMROScreensaverENDMac.bin installer. The screen at the bottom of the page will appear with the license agreement, and the following four selections.
- Preview :Tests the screensaver immediately in full-screen mode, without installing it. This allows the user to see it in action and decide if they want to install it. Click the mouse or press any key to exit the screensaver and return to this Installation dialog box.
- Info :Shows details about the installation process.
- Cancel :Quits the Installer without installing the screensaver.
- Install :Installs the screensaver on your system.
This software does not install any Extensions or modify your system in any way. You can use the screensaver immediately without restarting.
During installation, a standard “.saver” screensaver file will be added to the current user’s “Screen Savers” folder (~/Library/Screen Savers/).
To change settings, you can access the Screen Saver Control Panel by choosing ‘System Preferences’ from the Apple menu, and then clicking ‘Displays’, ‘Screen Savers’, ‘Screen Effects’, or ‘Desktop & Screen Saver’ (depending on your OS version).
To Deactivate, just choose another screensaver.
To Uninstall, just drag the screensaver file to the trash, or click the ‘Uninstall’ on the screen saver settings panel.
QuickTime Player Settings Changes:
Should you receive a warning screen like the one below, please follow these steps to adjust your QuickTime settings.
Open System Preferences, click QuickTime, click the Advanced Tab, and check the "Enable Flash" checkbox.
